The rules of Stolen Girlfriends Club: a youthful rebellious spirit, a healthy sense of humour, and the ability to entertain and empower.
The ability to entertainment was certainly proven last night, as the show began with an announcement asking everyone to illuminate their phones and hold them up as silhouettes of the models raced past the front rows before the runway lit up and the real show began.
Held in a narrow car park building, the industrial setting was the perfect backdrop to unveil Dead End, another brilliant androgynous collection from one of our favourite fashion labels.
There was some serious cool factor at play with bright sunshine yellow dressses, screen-print cobras on garments and some wicked bags the ideal accessory to finish the look. Two strong prints - often teamed together - tied the collection in, with some feature mesh - a top for the boys and a full length dress for the girls - and stamped leather pieces being some of the highlights of the collection.
Not only did Stolen Girlfriends Club rock their show, but they threw a kickass after party at Cassette Nine later on! Needless to say, feeling a little worse for wear this morning but stoked with an awesome night of fashion and fun!
As always, the full show album will be on Facebook
