Eat So They Can - The Thread Loop is making a difference!

We're super excited to let you all know that our friends over at The Thread Loop have partnered with GVN Foundation’s annual fundraiser, Eat So They Can (ESTC), to raise funds on behalf of marginalised women and children in Africa, Asia and South America.

The Thread Loop will donate 10% of its profits from every sale between now and 17 October 2010 directly to ESTC fundraiser, with shoppers automatically entered into the draw to WIN one of four $50 shopping vouchers. Sign-up to be an ESTC Host and you could also win a trip to Africa!

We reckon fashion savvy shoppers have never had a better excuse for pulling out their credit cards! Not only will you be supporting New Zealand designers with a social and environmental conscience, you will also be making a tangible difference to the lives of individuals and communities around the world.

ESTC invites people from all over the world to host a dinner, invite their friends and family, gather donations and send those funds to GVN Foundation to support their partners. This year’s fundraiser will be supporting four important causes:

1. Orphaned and Vulnerable Children
2. Women's Empowerment
3. Emergency Relief
4. Anti-Trafficking

OR: The 'Greatest Need' from the above causes

Here at Fashion Guru, we’re committed to supporting organisations and individuals with a genuine desire for influencing social and environmental change, so we think it's awesome to see The Thread Loop getting behind this worthy cause.

GO HARD! M+M
