One of our favourite New Zealand labels Brooklyn Zoo has launched their trans-seasonal 2012 collection for the lads and the ladies, 'Where Brooklyn At?'
Brooklyn was the birthplace of early 90's street culture, and this collection takes inspiration from that era, with a look described as having a raw, stripped back and edgy aesthetic.
More influence comes with 2012 marking the 15th anniversary of the death of American rapper Notorious B.I.G. The man also known as Biggie Smalls features on sweaters in a portrait style print, and in lyrical form, in a tribute to one of Brooklyn's most famous sons.
Our pick of the collection is the double-breasted Italian wool coat. The detailing of this statement piece includes creased vinyl sleeves and vinyl facings, satin lining and horn buttons.
